Purchases

After purchase and full payment as outlined in the Terms and Conditions, Velvet Bobbin endeavours to complete your order within 3 - 5 working days.

Downloadable items deliver within 2 hours and are exempt from returns and refund, as per our Terms and Conditions. You will recieve a download link to your email address and have 5 download attempts.

Deliveries

For physical items, we use Royal Mail and other courier services. We will email you once your order is fullfilled and issue you with the tracking number of your order.

Velvet Bobin is not held responsible for any loss sustained through failure to deliver by Royal Mail or other courier Services or loss of order in transit.

Courses and Classes

Any courses or classes must be paid for in full on booking, unless discussed with Velvet Bobbin prior to booking. Telephone or bookings in person can be made at the Studio, for all classes and course.

Alterations and Fittings

Alterations and Fittings are bookable online, via phone or in person at the Studio, and carry a non-returnable deposit of £10 to reduce "no-show" appointments.

Alteration prices will be agreed after inspection of the to be altered garment, and the deposit deducted from the final agreed price. Alterations have to be paid in full on the day of contract. On completion you will recieve an email and a phone call or SMS, informing you that your item is ready for collection. Items will be held for 14 days unless by prior arrangement.

Your statutory 14 days "cooling off" period will be observed for all purchases physical and online.

However, once an alteration is complete, it is exempt from the 14 days "cooling off" period and you remain liable for payment and colection. No refunds will be issued for alterations, unless a prior agreement is in place.

Custom Pattern Design

Custom Pattern design can be booked online, and in person only, and has to be paid in full on the day of fitting, before fitting commences.

Custom Patterns are exempt from the 14 day "cool off" and from any refunds. Custom Patterns can be obtained either via electronic download or as a printed pattern at a surcharge of £15 for printing, postage and packaging
